Amnesia "The band" was formed in the 1980s with 5 friends who rehearsed in a garage in Croydon!
15 years later, Amnesia has grown from a group who performed to close family and friends to a well respected rock and roll band, playing anything from the Beatles and the beach Boys to Kings of Leon and Snow Patrol.
Amnesia are available for all events and guarantee you will leave the gig with am massive smile, a sore throat and sore feet from dancing all evening! If you’re looking for band that will appeal to anyone between, 18 &]and 80, you have found them!
Over the last 5 years, Amnesia have performed numerous live gigs in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust and have helped to raise towards £10,000 for the charity.

CHALLENGE-FEST 2014 – 21st June 2014
**FREE** live gig in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust!
The Crown, Wickham Road, Shirley, Croydon, CR0 8BA
Our good friends "Amnesia the band" have always been passionate about supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust and the amazing work it does for young people affected by cancer in our local area. Over the last 4 years, in association with Rally Challenges UK, they have helped us to raise well over £8,000!
On June 21st, Amnesia teamed up with Rally Challenges UK again and the amazing "family" at The Crown, Shirley to smash the £10,000 mark!
Challenge-Fest 2014 was a FREE gig, open to everyone who enjoys great live music, a great atmosphere... and most importantly wants to help Rally Challenges UK and the Crown to raise as much as we possibly can for a charity which makes such a difference to young people when they are most in need of it! Just donate the change from every round... It only weighs down your pockets anyway!
Thanks to the HUGE number of people who packed out the Crown that night and the empty pockets that they went home with, we proved that loose chance can make a massive difference!
A massive thank you goes to Scott Buchanan and all the awesome team at The Crown, Shirley for all their incredible support that has made this event possible!
For the last few months, Rally Challenges UK has been the designated charity for the Sunday quiz at the Crown, and together with this donation directly from the pub and the money collected on the night, we raised an amazing £700!! Every single penny of this has been added to the grand total to be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust as part of the 2014 rally.
So once again, on behalf of RCUK and Amnesia...
